About the BHA B's CLiP update

When using the iDshot IDC-1000Z IEEE 1394 interface with Windows 98SE, Windows Me, Windows 2000, Windows XP environment, please update to B's CLiP5.
At this time, it is also necessary to update the iDshot IDC-1000Z firmware so it is compatible with B's CLiP5.

About the B's CLiP serial number |
|
| To update from B's CLiP version 3 to the latest B's CLiP version 5, a new serial number is necessary.
During the installation you will be asked to enter your serial number. Enter the serial number given with the iD PHOTO product update to continue with the installation.
With this update, a new B's CLiP serial number is provided free of charge by SANYO Electric for registered users of iDPHOTO products that include older versions of B's
CLiP.
Please e-mail your
camera serial number, name and address including your current B's
Clip Registration Code to to receive a new registration code.

Download the B's CLiP setup file to an easy-to-find location, such as the desktop.

Double-click on the downloaded Setup.exe file to activate B's CLiP setup launcher. B's CLiP install button and the DVD RAM Driver install button appear. |

First, press the B's CLiP install button to install B's CLiP5. Follow the installer instructions to proceed with the installation. |

During the installation, you are asked to enter the serial number. Enter the serial number given with the iD PHOTO product update. |

Next, press the DVD-RAM Driver install button to execute the installation. Follow the installer instructions to proceed with the installation. |

When installation is completed, reboot your computer. |

This completes the procedure to install B's CLiP 5.

NOTES

With this upgrade, the driver for the iD PHOTO is replaced by the DVD-RAM driver. However, note that the new version of B's CLiP and the DVD-RAM driver must both be installed in order to work. |

To prevent any unforeseen condition that may occur due to replacing the driver, it is suggested that you first copy disc data accessed from the older version of B's CLiP to your hard disk, and then use the format function to reformat the disk. |

It is recommended that Explorer be used to the write the data to the disk. |
